Sponsors: ACMOutside Link
Deadline: 8, Sep, 2007

SCOPE

The focus of this track, which is at its first edition this year, is on the application of both novel and well-known techniques in real-time systems design and development. Applications include avionics, aerospace, telecommunications, process control, consumer electronics, multimedia, entertainment, and automotive. We solicit both regular research papers and application experience papers in an effort to bring together academics and industrial practitioners. Papers will be peer-reviewed by at least three members of the program committee.

TOPICS OF INTEREST

SAC2008-RTS seeks papers covering all aspects of real-time systems design, analysis, implementation, evaluation, and case-studies. We welcome the submission of mature papers in several areas of real-time, including but not limited to: scheduling and schedulability analysis; worst-case execution time analysis; modeling and formal methods; validation techniques; quality of service support; reliability; compiler support; component-based approaches; middleware and distribution technologies; programming languages and operating systems; communication networks; wireless sensor networks; time engines and time synchronization; embedded systems; systems on chip; hardware/software co-design; power-aware and other resource-constrained techniques.
