An Information-Centric Network Prototype for IoTCISTER, Porto, Portugal
ABSTRACT:
Information-Centric Networking (ICN) is one of the most relevant communication paradigms for the Future Internet.
Additionally, thanks to its properties in relation to contents retrieval, ICN has recently been considered as an applicable solution in the context of Internet of Things. However, research in the ICN-IoT context is still considered as incipient, especially in terms of the realization of a unified proposal combining requirements of both paradigms.
In this context, the presentation focus on the prototyping a generic ICN-IoT node that forms the basis for the implementation of some advanced processing features of ICN and the interaction with heterogenous IoT devices.
