“Excellence and Internationalization in Research” among “Novo Norte” award finalists

The proposal titled "E2I - Excelência e Internacionalização na Investigação (Excellence and Internationalization in Research)", that ISEP put forward to the "Novo Norte" award, and that is instantiated with the CISTER research unit at its core, was nominated as one of the finalists to the award, in the "North Innovator" category.

The "Novo Norte" awards is an initiative of the Regional Development and Coordinating Commission of the North (CCDR-N) and the Operational Programme of the North Region, in partnership with the Jornal de Notícias journal, to single out cases of success and good practices in the North Region of Portugal, on priority regional development themes.

ISEP's proposal is based on the implementation of a policy of expansion and internationalization of resident research, in a way to contribute to the development of the Northern region, though excellence in education and research, and also in technology transfer.
