Henrique Rúbio was born in 1992 in Belo Horizonte (Brazil). In 2016 he moved to Portugal and lives in Porto since then. In Brazil he graduated in a Technical and Professional Course in Mechatronics (2011). Currently, he is in the 5th year of the Integrated Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering at FEUP (branch: Automation, Master's degree: Robotics and Systems).

During his academic journey, he did scientific investigations, internships in national and international companies, participation in university robotics teams and an exchange of studies in Spain. His academic and professional experiences in recent years have enabled his personal and professional growth, reinforced also by contact with companies and people of different nationalities, languages and cultures. His main interests are in automation, robotics and electronics systems.
